Tier 0: Getting Started
<4 Sundays of data; onboarding phase.
Tier 0 is the initial onboarding phase in Kingdom Metrics' data maturity model. A service enters Tier 0 when it has fewer than 4 Sundays of captured attendance data. During this phase, no trend analysis or capacity metrics are available — the system is simply collecting its first data points.
The dashboard will show raw weekly counts but will not display rolling averages, growth indicators, or capacity projections. This is by design: drawing conclusions from fewer than 4 data points would be misleading.
Why it matters for your church: Tier 0 sets expectations. When you first install a Kingdom Metrics sensor, resist the urge to analyze trends from the first two Sundays. Give the system at least a month to build a baseline before comparing services or drawing conclusions about growth.
