Source Priority

Resolution hierarchy: manual > model > capture; deduplicates attendance records.

Source priority is the conflict-resolution hierarchy Kingdom Metrics uses when multiple attendance values exist for the same service. The order is: manual entry (highest priority), model inference (AI count from a sensor capture), and raw capture (unprocessed image).

This hierarchy ensures that if a staff member manually overrides an AI count — because they know the actual number from a registration system or physical headcount — the manual value takes precedence. If no manual entry exists, the AI model's count is used. If the model has not yet processed a capture, the raw capture is held in queue.

Why it matters for your church: Source priority means you never have to worry about conflicting numbers. If your kids' ministry director manually enters the children's count and the lobby sensor captures the adult count, both values are stored with their source metadata and the system knows which one to use. The result is a single, authoritative attendance number per service.
