Max Potential

Realistic growth range: behavioral capacity x 1.10-1.15.

Max potential represents the highest attendance a service could realistically achieve in the near term. Kingdom Metrics calculates it by multiplying the current behavioral capacity by a factor of 1.10 to 1.15 — a 10-15% stretch above the demonstrated ceiling.

This is not a theoretical maximum or a dream number. It is an evidence-based projection grounded in the congregation's own attendance data. The 10-15% band accounts for the incremental growth that churches typically achieve through intentional guest-retention efforts, improved follow-up, and strategic event planning — without adding a new service time.

Why it matters for your church: Max potential gives leadership a concrete, data-driven growth target. If your current 8-week average is well below max potential, there is room to grow within your existing service structure. If you are already at or near max potential, it is time to explore adding a service, expanding the room, or launching a new venue.
